I just use the computer controls, I do agree that even at the lowest volume setting it is still "loud" but it doesn't really bother me that much.
-
The reasons are mainly because I like the look of 7-2 over 7-4 and with 7.4 the BV7 will have to be free standing on the floor with wires/cables everywhere. I can hide those wires underneath the TV stand I have there now. Also, from the discussion on this forum, I get the idea that the quality of sound produced by 7-2 and 7-4 are not all that different

I am not sure about sound reflection problem, I probably won't be able to tell . but what do you mean by a lot of hard surfaces though?

Here are some pictures of my current BV 7 + BL 9 + BL 4000 set up, BL 3 with my imac and the beosound 4 + BL6000 in the bedroom. http://web.mac.com/aweicc I have no idea how to post pictures on the forum so above is the link to the pics.

I am excited as my BV 7 arrived today and I had an AppleTV hooked up to it by HDMI AppleTV will be mainly used to play my itune library. Unfortunately I ran into a little problem, when ever I play music, the centre speaker (bl7.4) + 2 bl 9 all produce sound. Is there anyway for me to switch off the centre speaker on BV7 while I play music thru Appletv

I would assume just use 2 single rca audio cable, one for each speaker and connect them to a 3.5 mm stereo plug and plug it into your ipod. You can get 2 rca to stereo connector cable easily at any electronic store. Hope this helps
-
will do :) Thanks for the info again, I can do the same to my lab 9 when they arrive next week.
-
for some reason, my lab 3 doesn't come with a brush. perhaps I can check with my dealer and see if they can provide me with a set. Bulgarian thanks for the diagram :)
