Well, I think I may have fiqured out what was up. Is there such a thing as a bad pressing of a record? I put on my new album of Robin Thicke. It's what is bass heavy/treble light. Put on a known album, and all sounded good! Guy

I finally got around to buying a Shure tracking force scale. I have a Beogram 3000 that somehow has lost it's tracking force indicator (2nd owner). So I used a dental mirror and a dental pick to adjust to the correct force according to the Shure scale. I am using a gently used Soundsmith stylus. My question now is, the albums seem to be bass heavy

The amps are penta one's. 6603 I think? I'm going to try the other amp tonight. The hum does not hum at the amp, just the speaker. Guy

I bought a couple of penta amps (bottom only). The power cords were cut and they were sold to me AS IS. So I took a chance. I quickly taped up a power cord from the little pigtail that was left. Hooked up the radio to the amp and then out to a speaker. Surprize! It works! I have another set in the living room (with the penta speakers also). There is

Hi all, I'm wondering is the rod that sticks up from the top of this unit removeable? I like the stand, but I have a Beosound Century which I would like to sit on it. Is this capable? Guy

that the seller is saying is in mint condition? It also comes with RL 140s and RL 35s. Is this a good daily driver? I'm not sure the person selling it (local classified ad) knows much about it. Guy
