i have full functions on on 3500, the volume works, i can set the timer, change tracks, sources etc on the BS4. I can power down the BS4 via the 3500 as long as no one is using the BS4 independantly in the other room it which case only the 3500 will power down. I would try to seek a software upgrade if possible frm a dealer or ask on this forum

Hope this helps, i have a BS4 with a BL3500 connected via masterlink, my 3500 dates from circa 2001 and i can control all inputs from the 3500, just set A Aux on my Beo 4 and yes i can select that input on the BL3500. Obviously some of the newer options don't display correctly on the 3500 cos they weren't around when my 3500 was made, e.g if

DoubleU cheers for the clarifacation, i was surprised when i set the system up and found i could have two different sources especially when the B&O info said the opposite, so when i expand my system i can't expect 3 sources due to the limitations of the cable. Thanks for that i won,t have my dreams shattered!

Hi I have a BS4 in my main room and a 3500 speaker in another, they connected with masterlink. Yes you can play different sources in the different rooms, cos the radio only has one tuner you can only get one station at the same time. No problems playing and controlling A mem on my 3500 while the wife listens to cd or radio in the main room. What top
