Thanks Lee! To summarise the different cable versions:- Powerlink mk.1 is only suitable for the simpler Beolab speakers (ie. those without displays or digital amps. They are very thin and I personally won't sell them as I'm not too happy with the sound quality on longer cable runs. Mk.2 cables (aka. "fully-wired") have all 8 pins connected

Hi Andy, You've tried exactly what I would suggest - swap the cables and see if the fault moves to the other speaker. As it stays in the same place, this does sound like a speaker problem. You can remove the amps from the base of the Pentas and check the outputs with conventional passive speakers, as they just have standard red and black output

I know how you feel Klement! For years I've won nothing, then I win the same (excellent) book twice within a week! Technically my wife won the first one (at the BeorWorld Event) but even so, I've emailed Lee to donate the book back to the prize draw pool to be won by another lucky BeoWorlder in a future draw. Many thanks to Lee (and his prize

Hi Andy, Looks like we'll be ready to party from about 2:30pm onwards, just let us know where to find you! My good lady is keen to visit the London Eye, any thoughts on whether this could fit in later in the afternoon once we've managed to track you all down? I've been reliably informed that Sunday is reserved for shopping (little does she

4 days - I'm impressed! I thought I was doing well by stretching it to 2 full days in London (without children!) The only problem remaining is that my better half "needs" to bring a couple of dozen pairs of shoes, as she's not sure about the dress code at the event..... See you there! Steve.

Hello Archie, This is very strange! I think you may be using the wrong cable to connect the iPod Dock to the Beosound 9000, as I can't see any reason for this to happen with the correct cable. Another idea would be to try using the A.Aux button on the 9000 keypad, if this works, the batteries may be low in your remote control. Kind regards, Steve

Hi ouverture, The Beogram 4500 is an excellent choice for use with an Ouverture, as it has a built-in pre-amp and will fit nicely on one of my turntable wall shelves (I'm hoping you have a wall shelf already, as they are out of stock at the moment!) You don't need to worry about Datalink wiring with this combination of equipment, as the Beogram

Good idea! I could also bring my modified Beo4 that can control iPods (via a standard Apple dock) and Apple TV (without needing a BeoVision TV) if this is of interest? (Just to complete the whole B&O/Apple integration picture). Kind regards, Steve.

Hi js, Here's an alternative idea that may help you:- If position "B" is for serious listening, using speaker 2 for left and speaker 3 for right, why not invert the speaker connection for speaker 1 to simplify the wiring? When listening from the "serious listening position" (position B) this gives correct stereo signals. When

Hi tockvock, Sorry I couldn't get you a better price in this case. I'm not certain of the quality or suitability of the cable you linked to at musiciansfriend.com but I see they have included shipping costs within USA only, whereas I quoted you a price including free priority Worldwide shipping by Airmail. Hence, this will be part of the reason
