My friend has bought me a serenata from overseas and it is a really nice phone/mp3 player but such a pain to use! The most annoying thing is transferring songs and getting the mp3 player function to work the way I want on the Serenata. I use a mac and all my songs are in itunes so I had to copy the songs onto my laptop which is windows in order to use

That's a very good suggestion...I wonder how it would work?

I was a little disappointed following delivery of the TV to realise the DVB only process SD rather than HD, even though the TV is HD ready. I guess I'll probably go with the STB option with HDMI. Any users in Aust know of which one works well? I know Strong will work with Beo4.

I am wondering if anyone knows there are any possible upgrade to the DVB in BV9. I have a pre-full HD BV9 (Australia) and the tuner cannot decode HD channels. With more HD channels now showing different programs to SD channels, I like to be able to watch them. Or the only solution is to get a separate HD tuner?

Thanks. I will give that a try!

I could only find "program timer" under 'Timer' in the setup menu. You have to select the source as well as the start and end time. However, I just want the TV to be able to switch off at a particular time each day.

I am just wondering with if it is possible to set up a timer on my BV9 so that it will automatically switch off at a specific time each day e.g. 0000. I want to do this to prevent the TV being left on whilst unattended at night. Thanks!

Hi Keith Thanks for your advice now I understand my phone must have been set to 'personal' setting.

I have 2 Beocom 6000 with 1 base station from way back and althought they are working fine, I have a long time problem with the handsets' phonebook not in sync. Also, the caller ID lists don't sync as well - ie when I viewed some missed call numbers on 1 handset, the other will still display them as missed calls. I guess they are fairly trivial
