why is it ok with bv 7and 9 and not with bv8 and 10 (because they hve no timer???) the masterlink plug is different?????

I don't no that some of the new TV were not compatible with the beolink converter(1611)!!!!!! so now I have the choice between the bv7-55 or a bv9 second hand......
