Brisbane here. So what non B&O A/V gear do you have? I still don't have a home theatre setup due to the limitations of living in an apartment and secondly the limitations of my bank account not allowing me a pair of BL5's, 9's and BV4 or BV9. :(

Welcome Andrew, it's great to find other Aussies on here! I've also found that the older equipment is still fetching decent money...motivates me to actually fix an old beogram 8002 I have sitting in the garage. Luke.

IE 8 crashes for me as soon as the store manager is done talking every time, not a great start.

The Serenata really is going for cheap lately, from bargains on ebay (AUD $600-800) to my local dealer flogging them off for AUD $1750.

I went from a Nokia E90 Communicator to a Serene and although the Serene offers zero standout technical features I haven't found myself being caught out by this. Over the past few years I had also found myself buying high end smartphones and rarely using the features provided, so over the long term I will probably end up saving money.

S-S-S-Single Bed by FOX...now the start of that song sounds fantastic on a pair of BL5's! I'm ashamed to mention these 'artists' but the Thompson Twins and Kajagoogoo...all played of course when NOBODY is around!

I use my Beosound 3000 the most, although i'm only just now starting to use my beoport i bought a while back, the software is nasty but putting it in pc mode only is good enough when sitting at my computer desk

Although I own newer loudspeakers the Pentas still do it for me. The reason why I enjoy using them is that they still sound fairly competitive up against the current range and the design is still pleasing to me after all the years.

My favourite watch would have to be the Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5065J closely followed by the Longines Lindberg (not the re edition). Currently wearing a vintage 18k Rolex GMT Master 1675 with riveted oyster bracelet and a 'Pepsi' bezel Rolex GMT-II. I'd love to get a Patek Aquanaut or even a Franck Muller Cassablanca would be nice and different

Currently using a Leica M8 & Leica C-Lux 2...affectionately called the Panasonic with a red dot stuck on it by friends.
