Philipsmz, this is all relevant to the discussion. In summary, I think the Serene is a badly thought out product and that it's design cannot compensate for the lack of features and the hefty price tag it commands. I also think that B&O have "sold out" and tried to make a "quick buck" on this particular product. With it's

Ok now that is outrageous.

I agree with YannChris's alternative option. Option 2 is better because the centre speaker is at a better height, however for a distance of only 9-10 ft away, the screen is too high up and you will have to strain your neck in watching it so YannChris's option would be ideal. BS900 looks great wherever you put it really. I do think it looks fantastic

How far away from the tv will you be watching from? The further away you are, the smaller the angle you will have to tilt your head upwards to look at it, so you can get away with a screen that is higher up.

We have enjoyed listening to them during both watching movies, and also in stereo 3.1 and enhanced stereo - all 4 speakers for music and they

Yes definitely cheaper. The US is the place to buy from for people from the UK at this moment, so take advantage :-). Although I would imagine there must be differences in the US version eg voltages. Here the price is about £14000 for the basic setup I think so the one you saw was less than £10000 = nearly 30% cheaper.

Why would you want to mount them on the wall in the first place? You can't exaclty toe them in when on the wall, it would probably look ridiculous. Also in that picture, the tv itself is on a floorstand, so doesn't really match with having wall mounted speakers. Also as already mentioned, with cables it will look silly unless you can find a

beobeo: Very nice Nokia, however to me the message is "look, I have a nokia Aston Martin, I'll never afford the car but I have the logo in my phone". Most owners of Serene also own B&O stuff, although not every B&O lover will like serene. That's clear. I have a Serene and an earset 2 and what I like of it is that I have never
