  • Re: The B&O problem?

I think we can agree that everybody in this forum cares about B&O and that critics is meant constructive. This reminds me of the 90ies when Apple was stuck into economical problems and everybody tried to save Apple. Apple had the technologic potential but only could grow again after their visionary Steve Jobs came back. I always was an advocate

Beosystem 3 is the key product that makes me prefer B&O as a AV system, and it's unique. The BS3 a smart integration tool for B&O speakers and peripherals, together with lots of 3rd party peripherals like Apple TV and PS3. You still can buy a third party plasma and add a bezel of your choice.

Thx Flappo ! A completely agree with you. I consoder myself as a constant B&O customer who still is willing to pay twice or more for their products. But it's not about the price. Recent B&O products not only don't attract new customers, but p*** off their loyal followers. It will break B&O's neck if they don't manage to get

  • Re: The B&O problem?

You're right. Some feature like longevity, integration and design only comes with B&O which made me choosing the BV4. Other products don't: The Beosound 5 seems to be a lost opportunity. Design and materials seem unique, but I was expecting more technical innovation. The Beomedia box seems to be the key element if B&O could improve the

  • Re: The B&O problem?

I have a Beosystem 3 / BV4 50" setup at home. Besides the versatile Beosystem 3, I don't see why my next display should be from B&O. I understand that B&O has no plasma or LCD development and that companies like Sony don't want to sell their newest LCD or OLED displays to B&O. In this fast paced times it's hard for B&O

There is already a solution. It's called Apple TV (270 $).

  • Re: BeoSound 5 price this can not be true?

Hi p.: I' currently using an Apple solution as well. My Apple TV (controlled by the Beo4) is completely integrated into B&O by being connected to a Beosystem 3. Software updates in Besystem 3 provide easy integration of Apple TV, Playstation 3 and future 3rd party devices. I'm having my problems understanding which benefits I'll get

  • Re: Most beautiful B&O TV ever !

I love my BV4 50", but my all time favourite B&O TV is the MX 4400. It merges the art of encasing a bulky CRT and a characteristic B&O design.

  • Batman's B&O Setup

Just to let you know what Batman's B&O setup looks like I've sent you a screenshot from "The Dark Knight" trailer. Looks like Bruce Wayne has an exclusive preference for Beolab 5 speakers.
