Heribert; We also tried adjusting the sound inside the Beosound 4 without much effect on the Beolab 2000.

Heribert; I too thought of this last year when we upgraded from a Beosound 3200 to a Beosound 4. We wanted a bit more bass with the sharper digital notes from the Beosound 4. It is pre-set, just like the Beosound 1. No luck, but it remains a very clever, good speaker.

Really excellent photos Leslie. Sorry to hear that you too have come dwwn with a case of The Olde B&O. Pretty costly ongoing treatment and convalesence: Very hard to get out of your system once it takes hold of you. My vacumn tubes are rattling just thinking about it.

Agree with Blacktrix; 1. The front standby buttons on the lower front of each speaker can accidentally be turned off when handling the speaker. It has happened to us a few times when moving the speaker or changing the colour plates. 2. If the L-R speaker switch is selected (L or R) and you still do not have power or sound, then it is either a defective

It is a good product, it meets a demand heard many years from the IPOD users, and compared to other B&O systems is reasonably priced. Coming back to this again, what I saw in the original picture looked like a white sink with a BL-4 to the right of it. Now that I can see the entire photo, it appears to be a white bathtub. The BL-4 is actually on the footboard of a bedpost. AND above the white bathtub is a BV-10 (and not a window to the outside ), using the same green-white display

BATHROOM: The beolab 4 is a bit too close to the sink. Better on the wall or ceiling. BEDROOM: The "Playboy " decorating effect: Black Bras left on bed.
