Heribert; I too thought of this last year when we upgraded from a Beosound 3200 to a Beosound 4. We wanted a bit more bass with the sharper digital notes from the Beosound 4. It is pre-set, just like the Beosound 1. No luck, but it remains a very clever, good speaker.

Agree with Blacktrix; 1. The front standby buttons on the lower front of each speaker can accidentally be turned off when handling the speaker.
