Thanks all - I've been busy checking the dimensions of the P45's and S45-2's but think they would all be too big. I've always liked the style of the CX100's so I think that would be my choice. Thanks to all for your help.

Thanks to all of you, this is very helpful. I was going to ask if they look the same, the different finishes would drive me nuts too. So by sticking with it as is, the next obvious question to ask is which speakers should I get? If this is going to live as a separate system it is going to go into a study or bedroom, so not much space at all for speakers

Thank you for the reply Doctor. I’ve been reading up on this since my post and I’m not sure if this is an option or not. Can one buy a later Beomaster, such as the 6500 which I think supports Beolab’s as well as the latest remotes, connected with all the other elements of the 5000 system? From the price you are suggesting, if I am

Hi, I have an opportunity to purchase a complete Beosystem 5000 (Beogram 5005, Beomaster 5000, Beocord 5000, Beogram CD 50 and a Master Control Panel 5000) all items are in working order. These are my questions: 1) What is a fair price to offer for the whole system? 2) What options do I have (if any) for linking it to my current speakers which are connected

You are a genius, thank you so much. I just tested it and no more beeps. I can genuinly use the phone for work. Again, thank you so much Dan

Typical, one of the few times I can't follow the draw I go and win something. Thank you so much Beoworld, I lost my A8's in last year’s London marathon, knocked out of my hand at about 22 miles stage, so was waiting to pick up a new pair on my next British Airways flight which happens to be in a couple of weeks - so not only have a new

Thanks for the reply, so it sounds like the answer is no - my wife bought me the phone and I know it really annoys her that I always use my beocom 6000 with a headset. Is there anyone out there who knows if I can do anything about the beep?
-
Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to switch off the intermittent 'beep' sound when the microphone is set to off during a call? It is extra ordinarily annoying when on a conference call. Thanks Dan

what would you say if asked... "What's the best thing to happen in 2010, the birth of your son or winning a BS9000?" Very tricky indeed - here's to hoping to find out the answer!! Good luck all.
