I would go for a pair of MS150 . I am very privaliged to own the actual pair photographed in the link. They were extensively refurbished several years ago and sound sublime. The inbuilt subwoofers really do move a significant amount of air! The only problem is they're like hen's teeth and will almost certainly need to be refurbed if they haven't

Axel charges circa100 Euros to re-tip a MMC4. He doesn't just re-tip but also replaces the rubber suspension that can / nearly always does perish over the years. If Axel charged double it would still be better value than buying any second hand MMC. Cheers NIgel
