Bought a Playstation 3 today to hookup to my Beovision 8-40. Started with the sound settings of the PS3 to auto; this sometimes gave same scary sounding noises (loud sharp noises) when switching sources (PS3 to DTV) or stopping games. It seems that the sound settings of the PS3 need to be adapted. The specification I have for the BV8-40 are: Audio:

Ik heb de Hamax 5050 aangesloten via hdmi op mijn BV8-40; omdat ik op deze manier niet teletekst via de BV8-40 kon bekijken heb ik additioneel een scart kabel aangesloten. Helaas werkt dit niet goed, ik krijg wel teletekst, maar pagina's worden meestal slechts gedeeltelijk weergegeven. Heeft iemand ervaring met een soortgelijke aansluiting of tips

Probeer in het service menu de error codes te bekijken. Mogelijk bieden die wat duidelijkheid. Ik heb een soortgelijk probleem gehad wat erger en erger werd in de tijd; van 1 keer in de maand uitvallen tot meerdere keren per dag. There is no proper beamer out available on the BV8-40, but you can still use a beamer. How to connect it depends on what sources you would like to view on your beamer.
