Dave: Nothing happens when i press menu over tuning! My BV3 doesn't have the link module. In fact you must press the "menu" key, inside the "tuning" BV menu, and only when the option "link frequency" turns on red (if this option is available !) and then the "modulator" option appears; but obviously all this

Ehlerz: However, on the Beo4 you can at ANY time chose to turn your tv by pressing list, stand etc. When listening a CD in my linked BS9000, the avant stand never works (Beo4/Beo5) because the avant screen is off, even if the command is always present in the beo4. That's why is normal for me to see this option greyed out in my beo5 in that case

TWG: btw: Does "dimming" of the Beo 5 screen work for you? The screen fades black after e.g. 30s but does NOT dim after 10s?! Hi TWG, If you want to watch the "dimming" feature effect, you must turn on the beo5 screen in an ambient brightly enough, like a really shiny day or directly under an artificial light, only then, the first

Alex: I have my Beo5 natively controlling a STB, Apple TV and HD DVD Player connected to my 20 year old MX 5000 TV ... wtlc2zpx: The Beo5 does not have the hardware to do 2 way... so we need to forget about it unfortunately. True, the beo5 current model has not IR receiver, so forget 2 ways. wtlc2zpx: What I would suggest to B&O is to put a USB socket on the Beomaster5/Beomedia1. You could connect the Beo5 and it would send the list of songs, playlists and cover

TWG: is that CONFIRMED that the Beo5 will be able to direct control NON B&O Ir-Devices in the future? Everytime I ask that question to my dealer, the answer is always the same from the very begining: "I hope so... but who knows! anyway the non-B&O devices IR-control by beo5 is not now a priority question for them; however we must be patients

For urgency SD card fill with your "holidays music", you can use any SD card adapter and the windows file explorer "drag and drop" for your mp3 files; your BS2 will reset and re-read the new filled card simply by pressing the 2 key pad combination.

saf: but why oh why this always happens right before the holidays ... I understand very well your frustration Saf ! Good luck and... very good holidays !!!!!!!

Hello Saf ! It sounds like some recent software installation drivers have interfered, blocked, or provoked some kind of incompatibility with beoplayer software and drivers specially those referent to beosound2. My advice would be a complete un-installation (even using a "RegCleaner" or similar afterwards to erase all registry traces) and a
