    ...covers are ordered and are due in during the week! i was planning to use a smooth matt white Hammerite paint, applied using a very fine airbrushing kit? anyone more knowledgable in this area feel free to add advice! Regards Ray the white

    Hi Jason I have number 466! i ordered mine just after they were announced so I'm not sure how the numbers were allocated but well done The cost of the standard 9000 where i am is £3200 i am also ordering the covers that go along the top and having them coloured white just out of interest to see the result!     The white frets for the Blab 6000s were £140 for the pair, and the Beosound 9000 is the same price although i understand some dealers may charge a premium I've not seen one in the flesh, so bit of a chance here! but as far as i know, its just the aluminium where the CDs are that is white, everything else is the same Regards Ray

    i have ordered myself a white Beosound 9000 and some white Blab 4000s ( although its only the the covers that are white!), should be here around november time. Also just fitted some white covers to my wall mounted Blab 6000s, the cabinets are currently in sky blue but i will change to aluminium soon . Cables being hidden in a couple of weeks so pics

  • Bubble wrap & aluminium...

    Some of you will probably already know this, but turntable platters really don't like being wrapped in this stuff! I have had two now with a nice imprint of bubbles where the laquer on the the platter has reacted I have had to remove all the original laquer to get the finish back, although on the positive side it does leave them very shiny!
