This iinet one looked good as don't have to pay line rental as well but on negative side can't get digital TV with it or use the phone line for house alarm etc. will keep investigating but am at least confident that if I go down VOIP route that

SWISS 2: G'Day Dylan; It will work. I have used a European (DE) 6000, non-DECT model with Vonage VOIP service in North America, and it works fine. Are you sure it's a non-DECT model? I can only find DECT 6000s in the Product section? Also do you get all the caller ID etc OK? Dylan

how much are Beolab 4 PCs? (too lazy to click elsewhere on Beoworld) surely more expensive than my beauties unless you factor in the hours of trying to find them.

I use BL4500s connected to beoport - would definitely recommend them - lovely sound, cheaper, if you can find them (or win them!) than any of the modern range - but you do need a wall to pop them on, and don't expect to do any work at your computer. Dylan
