Thanks Rich, I just sent Mark an email. That would simplify things a little.

Hey guys, I sourced a used top cap and top copper trim from eBay. I'm going to look into fabricating all of the stainless panels. Talked to B&O and found out they are still available but quite costly....so, it should be cheaper and more interesting to fabricate. Coil L6 (1.8mH) for the woofer and L3 (100uH) on the midrange for both speakers

Leslie, I'm not sure of the gauge and it's hard to measure now since it's mounted. Medogsfat, thanks for the info. Helpful stuff for when I have my Penta panels fabricated.

Leslie, I'm no metallurgist, but I think the bend is a function of the thickness of the metal as well as the alloy. I think B&O got such as crisp line because the metal was both thin and soft. I saw the industrial break used to bend my sheet and I think the machine could get a crisp line. However, my metal was quite hard, hence the bend isn't

As promised, here are the photos of the Beovox 3000 (4500) restoration project I finished. Before: Removed Stainless for pattern: Fabricated panels (one with protective plastic still on): After: Beomaster 4500 mirror fabrication still in progress...

Now, check out the fried crossovers (both are fried, one more than the other):

I recently picked up a Beomaster 5500 w/ Master Control and Beogram CD5500, off of Craigslist from a gentleman planning on moving out of town. He was trying to lighten his load before his travels. His family was the original owner of the system and said he was selling it because the speakers were "no good" with the system. On my drive home
