I like the look actually. I lkie the idea of a new Beolit, and I don't mind where its made if its made well. BUT ...from what Trip suggests, its sounds like it is essentially one of these http://www.simplysonos.co.uk/acatalog/Bundles.html?gclid=CJf-uq-lx6wCFQIf4QodnBReqg My fear is it will have less "mass market" appeal than the sonos

and what it looks like based on some unofficial photos of a mock up.
I've been told today that those Beolit 12 photos ARE the finished version. They aren't a mock up or unfinished.
In which case it simply cannot be retailing at anything approaching £500UK

listening to cd's by the recently deceased Jackie Leven. A real musician, and a real artist, sadly overlooked commercially. I saw him live about 10 times, and also used his recordings a lot to sell B&O speakers when I did that for a living - very fine sounding recordings. RIP

Hi, Suggest you turn the tv off at the wall, then check the scart cables are firmly home on the tv and your other kit. then turn the tv back on, and see if its bsck to OK....moving the tv could have loosened the scart, and sometimes these TV's need a full reset ( ie a power off/on cycle) to "see" everything.

Gosh. Back in another life, i did on occasion have "ngotiations" with customers based around price/level of service. It is true to say, and some have indeed done so here, that the historical "norm" is a B&O dealer will include "basic" installation in the ticket price. This policy really dates from a time when it was

I use a Bs3 everyday - mainly for FM ( yes Paul, FM !! ) but I also use it to listen to podcats ( mainly r4 factual stuff) quite abit. Its good for music, but , imo, it excells at spoken word - so perfect for Radio4. So - if the new beolit is more music friendly - DAB, a bit more "depth" of sound, batteries, then I think it has a valid place

I assume you have unplugged it for 10 minutes or so ?? - just in case it has got muddled. Long shot but you never know. Without being too opportunist, if its letting you down, you could consider a replacement - as it hapens i just listed mine on ebay, see here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130600555170

Perhaps rather than "stealing" this was a case of a design element being used because it was just in the mind of the apple person, who used/saw B&O products for some time. There are some things that are hard to design completey uniquely - and a wheel, be it an icon, control or an actual wheel is a good example. That design also looks a
