YES BeoLab 2-Line-Adapter (B&O Item 6271030) ! Power cable has to be ordered separately in each local market due to differences in mains plug types; use e.g. 8040070 for EU !

Did this years ago! As far as I remember: - you unscrew / dissasemble and open the clamp mounted to the baseplate - shorten the tube on the BOTTOM end! !! On the top end you will cut away the cable entry and the bushing/insert for "plugging in" the BV/BC1 !! !! Don't forget to protect the aluminium tube during clamping in the vice !!

Assuming that: BV7-40 is in Opt 2, BSd5 is in Opt 0, MX4200 in in Opt 6 and has been disconneted from power for min 1 min Masterlink cables are plugged in - BV MX 4200 stays connected to mains - disconnect BV 7-40 and BS 5 from mains for a minimum of 1 min - first reconnect BS 5 to power and let it boot up - then connect BV 7-40 to power ... and wait

There are two reasons for the ON/STANDBY LED to be illuminated in "amber / orange / dark yellow": 1 - Unit is faulty - warning message - LED is OK 2 - Unit is working fine - but LED ITSELF is faulty

I absolutely agree with you - unfortunately only few stations broadcast audiostreams better than 128 kbps. Being one of the few exceptiones e.g. "AVRO Baroque ..." uses 256 kbps MP3 for their classical programs.
