I have ordered a Beo 5 and am curious to see if I like it better than the Beo 4. One thought I had where the Beo 4 may be simpler is if you want to switch to a source that has a hard button on the Beo 4, such as CD, it is a one button press. If I am understanding correctly, on the Beo 5 it may take more than one press as it will be necessary to back

I would think your BV4 has it but do not know where the sensor is.

The article being asked about was from 2007. I don't think the question was about the automatic picture control that was added in 2008. the article was about vision clear.

As B and O does not release the software, where from and how do these download sites get the software? Just curious.

As I am in the USA I have no experience with sky. However, I had problems with the Apple PUC in that whenever I would use another source it would at times send a signal to the Apple TV. It was basically impossible to leave Apple TV in standby as operating other sources (turning them off if I remember correctly) would turn the Apple TV back on. I solved
