Radiohead -The Bends I have somehow managed to get to 2008 owning only one Radiohead CD (OK Computer) but I have just got the 7CD Box Set for my Birthday with the first six studio CD's and the live mini-album in it, so I will be working my way through it over the next few weeks. I am very impressed by the Bends so far - will give it a few more listens

My favourite designs are the 70's/80's Unipahse speakers on metal Floor stands with the wooden cabinets, but I wouldn't call it a se*y design. The se*iest design has to be the Beovox 2500 tweeter cubes from the late sixties . Decades ahead of their time and now a highly prized collectors item. Simon

They are nice units and will sound pretty good if it all works. Sadly they are too old to be worth more than a token sum but too new to be collectable. Are you sure you cannot find room for them? Simon

Welcome to the forum John! If you send a personal message to martin (username Dillen) he may be able to help you. He is located in Denmark but is an amazing source of parts and information. I can see that If I upgraded my BeoCenter 7000 and s45-2 combination I would get a more modern and compact system, that would have better connectivity (a real pain woth the BC7000) , be fully linkable, give me more control options and look more modern. That said, I have often wondered how much better it would sound

Where are you located? I am in Birkenhead and have a defunct Beocenter 5000 which you would be welcome to collect. The amplifier works but the tape and phono sections do not. It is almost complete apart from the turntable belt and cartridge. Simon

Is the HD full? That can cause all kinds of strange errors. Simon

Have you tried getting someone to download a virus checker to a USB key? It's a bit worrying when you say you have several virus checkers installed. You shouldn't really have more than 1 running at any one time or they may clash with each other and cause all kinds of problems. Likewise I got into a horrible mess with my computer when I upgraded

deaddruid: Chris - I didn't even notice how ambiguous my title is. Would leave that B&O/Audi sound system for dead! I must admit I was hugely disappointed when I realised what this thread was really about. I thought I had stumbled across the ultimate B&O Modding thread! Simon

Welsome to Beoworld! You also need to switch on the handset and press the call button on the phone so it will try and register as well as open the base to registrations. Simon
