Tricky as you might not get back what the service costs should you ever want to part with it again. Unlike some pieces of B&O equipment, this one is relatively unloved so it doesn't command a high price. The question is, therefore, how much do you think of this item and does that outweigh the rational vocie that says it's not worth spending

Hi Mike Bentleyman has given a fair estimate of the 9500 related stuff, so I'll have a bash with the remainder: 1900 Always going to be difficult to find in fully-functioning condition. I suppose a good lot would set you back somewhere in the region of £200ish on a reasonable day on eBay. Depends to a great extent who is bidding and how much

Nice :) I think us TR6 owners know a thing or two about clean lines when we see them. The 9500 is on my wanted list if I could find a nice Beolink 7000 and some Beolab 5000s to go with it!

Very nice - and yours will have a fully lit tuning display I assume? That's the only thing lacking on mine... They look so modern in the white trim - I'm sure you're a happy man :)

[quote user="Peter "] By the way, you didn't say what sort of classic car you have! That might have some bearing on our suggestions! Don't mess about - get the full Beosystem 8000. The rest are mere chipolatas compared with this enormous bratwurst of a system.

When this happened with my Beomaster 5000, repeatedly hitting the Mute button and thus engaging/disengaging the relay cleaned up the contacts and it worked faultlessly afterwards. You could try this and see what happens...
