I own Beolab 8000 that I love, a friend of mine has Beolab 6000, and in his setting/room they sound great! I was really surprised as they do not have such a great reputation.

Masterlink is a long, flat, rectangle socket, while Datalink is DIN. I do not know how many pin has a Datalink socket. Powerlink (for the speakers) is also DIN, it has eight pins. You can find details about the different connections here: http://www.beoworld.org/beotech/index.htm

Other question, what is currently connected to your TV? Set top box? DVD?

To my knowledge, the Apple TV is not working well with CRT television. Its output is only in HD, and in 16/9. I would recommand a Mac mini, but a second hand one, as the latest (from 2009) one cannot use the mini DVI to Composite adapter.

Are you sure it is a Beovision 9000 ?? Maybe it is an AV 9000 (blue, with triangle speaker) and Beovision 9 (plasma)? p.

Il est possible par contre je crois d'appuyer sur un bouton situé sur le recepteur IR pour mettre en route la musique. Pour une salle de bain, je conseille le Beolab 2000, qui a des commandes locales.

Some older Beosound 3000 are not compatible with N.MUSIC/N.RADIO, so be carefull when you buy it to make sure the firmware is the right one. But if the firmware is N.MUSIC compatible, yes, you will be able to call N.MUSIC and N.RADIO from any room.
