js, I`m sorry to say that BL active doesn`t work as standalone. It could not be activated from standby by pressing PC. After disconnecting power and masterlink from BL active I reconnected mains and tried to activate it by Beo4 - no luck. Then I tried to activate it by pressing the PLAY button on the IR eye - again no luck. After replugging masterlink

Ther are two types of BL active. The newer one, I think it`s called 1636, has a DIN input socket. You can connect the line out of your computer or any other audio device with line out to this stereo input. Will be activated by pressing PC on Beo4/5. Sure. Press PC to start your BM5 and BV. You will get the main menu. Select N.MUSIC - music starts up. Press MENU and select PHOTO. Press MENU - 3 (slideshow). Now you listen to N.MUSIC and watch photos from your BM5. Hope this helps. Stefan
