It's in the schematics, designated 0IL1 (Radicator). It's possible that something has been changed in your Beomaster but normally, the ON and signal level meter lamps are in series, meaning that if one goes out, the other goes too. So either the signal meter lamp is actually lit (only not bright enough to see in daylight) or the lamp has blown

Great find ! Wonderful condition and quite rare to see the box. Martin

Both ways of mounting can be found. Work carefully when taking off the grills, they break easily, typically across the center. Martin

The Beovox S40 (and similar Beovox S35-2) is widely recognized as a superb two-way speaker. I've seen them mentioned as reference speakers for other two-way systems on other fora. I would expect the Beovox M70 to provide a greater sound experience, though. A little burn-in won't hurt but I'm not convinced that they will change that much

Welcome to Beoworld ! The old antennas (or arials) are very rare and difficult to find. If you find one, expect to pay more for it than you did for the Beomaster. I'm almost sure that the number, you refer to, is for a newer model antenna as it is mentioned in mid-1990's pricelists etc. and that one may still be available from your dealer. No

Welcome to Beoworld ! Do you have the platter mounted ? If not, the initial startup and braking sequence could easily see the platter rotating backwards. Is the display showing anything ? Which transistors did you replace, with what and why did you replace them ? Martin

If you test the Beogram 5005 on the Tape input, you must remove the two datalink pins in the DIN plug on the Beograms cable. If you don't, the Beomaster will stop the Beogram when you press Tape on the Beomaster and switch to the Phono input (which is empty) when you press start on the Beogram. In both cases, the result will be silence. Martin

They all run a bit warm on the cooling fins. The Beocord 9000 particularly so but if yours are far warmer than normal is obviously hard to tell. You will normally not be able to burn your fingers but it may feel "unpleasant" warm. Martin

Kevin, welcome to Beoworld ! Thanks for signing up as a silver member, your support is greatly appreciated. Your Beomaster will need a new idle current trimmer in the warm channel (red circle in the photo below). It's a fairly cheap repair and the repairer should do both channels while in there. The trimmers will need adjusting to factory specs

Yes, me too However, I don't remember it being any good and I'm almost sure it went into the glass jar that I have standing here, dedicated finds like this. Martin
