I want that as well!! I have bought the headphone amplifier for the headphone test really! We need to organise something! I have the Grado RS1s now.

Just planning on a CD for now. I should get the headphone amplifier tomorrow, I hope, and may consider a Musical Fidelity amplifier at some stage. It will however have to wow me!! There were some technical papers available showing how they plan to do it. Essentially they make the aluminium very thin but then have tiny pores in it so you can have touch sensitive areas that light up. Very clever and this will come!

Off tomorrow to audition a non B&O CD player!! Thinking about this one ! Have actually already bought the Musical Fidelity Headphone Amplifier and decided I needed a good CD plater. My CD-50 has just gone on strike and the headphone socket on the BC2 is simply dire!! Also a bit cheesed off with B&O at present and don't feel like giving them

Interesting! One of the wires must be acting as an aerial so in the first event I would reroute the wires. Bizarre though! I suppose the other thought would be intereference from a wireless router but that seems a bit far fetched!

wirralsimon: Peter: That is a young system!! My most used system dates from the 70s! Peter. I am intrigued by this. You are someone who has exposure to a large proportion of what B&O has to offer and have a 1970's system as the one you listen to most. I am a big fan of the olser systems too, but it made me woncer, what is your most used setup

If the speakers feel fine, great! Just use them! I cannot remember seeing a pair without rot but I am assured they do exist! The radial 5000 is a beauty - it is the best match for the 5000 system - noe how all the lettering on the front of the units match and the quality of the light in the lid - much better than the later tangentials. Don't tell
