Sounds as though the 7000 is working - if it didn't work 2 way with the audio I would be suspicious but it clearly is. If the 5000 works 2 way then the TV is also OK!!!!! Try removing and adding again and make sure you are directly in front of the TV!!

No, but like you I would be fascinated to know. Clearly present day equipment information would be sensitive, but older equipment should be OK. Have you ever asked Struer?

To an extent but clearly the sound still bounces off walls and thence to the floor etc.

Yes, but from experience, even a few small rugs and a bit of furniture make a big difference. If I take my Persian rug out, the sound is a lot worse.

I use Windolene on my Avant. The coating is on the inside so you should not be able to damage it. A gentle glass cleaner is fine!

It should be as if there is no moderator and everything just works perfectly. If a moderator is very obviously changing things, he is not doing things properly in

Another recommendation for Tim Jarman who lives in Farnborough. He likes this era of receivers and I am sure he will be cheaper and more efficient that a B&O dealer simply because he is used to doing these! Can be contacted via www.Beocentral.com .

The user manual is on site. It has connections for an external device - Tape 2 - and this will accept a CD player. It uses RCA sockets so a Beogram CDX will fit directly if you wish to keep it all B&O. The amplifier in the 7007 is superb - very powerful and a definite step up from the Beomasters you mention. In some ways this range of music centres
