You can use a Beolink 1000, usually half the price used compared to used Beo4.

What is a Beo7?

The early models could not be synched with a sync cable if connected to non B&O equipment, even if advertised as such by B&O... The early ones also feature a "proper" mains cable. Not the teeny-weeny usual B&O mains cable. Looks better IMHO, not sure if it makes a difference...
