Hi, my Beosound 3000 was at my dealer to make the softwareupdate again to see if this was the error: It worked 2 days at the dealer so he phoned me to pick up my unit. At my new home it played for 2 days exactly. On day 3 it was frozen, only the red standby-led is active and it doesn't react to my hands or the remote control. I had to pull the plug

  • Re: Rat Welcher DVD-Player anschaffen

  • New room, new sound!

Hello, just a little nice info: I've just moved. My Beolab 6000 now act in a new living room and the acustical difference compared to my old living room is simply great! The 6000 now sound much better, fresher than in my old living room - I re-discovered my B&O System! I will NOT imagine how a Beolab 5 would sound (dreaming ...) ;-) Have a nice

  • Re: Language Supported?

just a guess: As BS5 is a windows based system it could help if you install the windows support for asian languages?! I don't know IF this works but from the computer point of view, it sounds logical - to me ;-)

  • Re: Beosound 5 software / firmware modding or tweaking possible?

[quote user="TripEnglish"] So what I'm saying, (and saying and saying and saying!) is that part of gaining access to great products is having a healthy reverence for those craftsmen who have taken so much time to develop the knowledge, skills, and expertise to design and build them. As soon as we, without the slightest shred of expertise

Hello Trip, thank you for your answer. I hope my writing is readable in terms of punctuation, capitalization etc. because english is a foreign language for me :-) I'm much more eloquent in my motherlanguage (?) :-) To tell the truth: The phrase "because I can" matches nearly perfect :-) But, I want to personalise the unit as B&O forgot

  • Re: HDD based products like BS 3200 and BS 5: Useless when HDD crashes?

this leads to another question on the Beosound 5: Will it be usable if the HDD fails? I mean: Does the controller work or is the Firmware etc. installed on the harddrive? If yes this would be a very dumb construction ... ;-)
