Yes that works with BS3 based BV7s, but if I remember correctly, Ingvar got an earlier BV7-32 and I don`t know if this will work with a -32 the same way....(?) Stefan
@Ingvar: Same here. MX xxxx won`t understand PC command. - Thanks Stefan, i assumed that that was the problem. Well navigation from link-TV isn´t that a big thing for me, especially when the navigation is on so low level...
Maybe you can assign the AV port connected to BM5 as V.AUX in the connections menu

Connect BM5 spdif out directly to BL5 digital in. BV7 Powerlink out to BL5 Powerlink in. BL5 will switch to digital in automatically when detecting an spdif signal. BM5 in A.OPT 0, BV7 V.OPT 2. Stefan

Yes. You must connect your BM5 (or BM1) via composite to your Beovision if you want picture on link TVs. Stefan

Most disappointing update I ever got! Yes, sure, it works with my BV7-40 and BV6-22 and BC6-26 in linkrooms. But it is quite USELESS, if they don`t improve on screen navigation. This is what was announced long ago: "Next Update: -Navigation of N.MUSIC/N.RADIO via main room TV -- support for searching through the music collection via the TV screen

Check whether your BS5 is set to "NO AUDIOMASTER". Go to SETTINGS, press RIGHT - RIGHT - GO. Go down to ROLES press GO. Now "AUDIOMASTER NO" should be displayed. If not change from YES to NO. Hope this helps. Stefan

Maybe this sound a bit substrus (?), but when I had a mac mini connected to my BV7-40 I used a Philips Suround headphone amp HD1500. This device converts digital audio - DD, DTS, PCM - to analogue stereo including passthrough of digital sound. So Mac mini digital out -> HD1500 digital in -> HD1500 analogue out (headphone out) .> Scart audio

No problem. You`re welcome. For the Link options: I tested it in L.OPT 2 - 4 - 6. It didn`t even start up by pressing PC (L-PC in L.OPT 4). Stefan

The BC9500 was my first Beo twenty years ago. I still have it. It works like at the first day. No repairs necessary. Today it is places on a sideboard in the home office of my wife. She added Beolab 5000 in blue and it looks and sounds beautiful. There is also a Beolink 7000 located on the wall charger/LCS7000. Everything with 2 way communication -
