  • Re: New Lighting Solutions

You are correct, there has been much discussion on this subject over the years particular after B&O stopped selling the LC2. If you want to control any of these lighting products other than the B&O compatible Lutron and similar with the Beo4 without a converter then the options still remain small. However if you are willing to move to using

  • Re: Will Beocom 2 work on PULSe phoneline??

I can confirm that Russia does have modern phone exchanges using tone dialing in the major cities, however move away from these major centres and the telecoms network is still in the 50's & 60's

  • Re: Will Beocom 2 work on PULSe phoneline??

Kirill, A Very warm welcome to Beoworld.. As you have correctly noted the Beocom 2 uses "Tone Dialing" which will NOT work on a "Stralger" exchange which was originally designed to be used with rotary dial phones. However a rotary phone will work on a modern exchange. I would be very surprised if your friend is connected to an exchange

  • Re: Beo 4 DTV version

I am informed that B&O has made a small batch of these new Beo4's and they will see how they sell. They have not produced an upgrade kit, so you have to purchase a new one if you want one.

  • Re: Beo5 don´t go to stand by

Peter, If I have correctly understood your problem, you downloaded a new configuration and now it drains the battery flat. Also the first button you pressed after the download still has the "glow" around the button which you get when you press it. If this is the case then you will need to download a different known working configuration or
  • Re: Beovision 3 - does scart lead affect picture format ?

All three SCART connectors have pin 8 wired for automatic 16:9 sense and on the VTAPE and AV SCART it is also used for AVL signal as well. The following are the signal spec's for each socket:- VTAPE -- CVBS in/out -- RGB in -- Automatic 16:9 sense using pin 8 -- B&O AVL also on pin 8 AV -- CVBS in/out -- RGB in -- S-VHS in/out -- Automatic 16

  • Re: Vogels VFWE 552 RC motorised wall bracket

Gary, Let me start by saying that no question is a dumb question, you just currently don't have the answer !! It WOULD be possible to add the Vogel commands to the Beo5 and how well it would work compared to the original remote will depend on the protocol it uses. If it uses one of the standard protocols such as NEC, then it will work EXACTLY the
  • Re: Complete newbie who starts his path tomorrow!

A very warm welcome to Beoworld and your first posting on the forum. Let me see if I can answer the questions you have raised:- There are two ways of controlling non B&O products (3rd party products), either directly from the Beo5 without the involvement of ANY other B&O product OR via the Beovision which has a 3rd party STB controller called
  • Re: Software latest for BeoVision 6-22
