If you have just bought it, I would return it to the seller and try to get a refund!! But if you still want to go ahead, you don't need to take the back off to get to the buttons. Remove the glass doors, then prise off the black plastic panels which were behind the doors. Be carefull as the are easy to scratch! The center panel is retained by 8

I gave up with Parcel2go some 3 years ago over an unpaid insurance claim compounded by poor service from DHL. They didn't pick up or deliver unless they had something else in the area to make it worth their while. I don't mind waiting in for a collection to take place on the date specified but if they don't turn up...............! I used

Early ones were 14 bit, Neil. From Serial Number 05816917 the 14 bit CDM2 was changed to a 16 bit CDM4.

I had a Beogram 4000 with complely seized pivot bearings. I had to completely dismantle them as no amount of solvent would penetrate. Just a thought.

To connect your Beosound 3000 to the passive/MCL2P/ML/MCL converter or whichever you end up with you will need a Fully Wired (used to be called Mk2) powerlink cable. Nothing else will do the job!

Any of the Beolink type amplifiers you mention will do the job. Buy whichever you can buy at the cheapest price. If it comes with a IR eye simply don't plug it in!
