• Re: BeoVision 10 bad panels
As someone from this Forum (whom I also know outside the Forum) put it, this must be quite embarrassing for B&O...
We also forget all the BV7-40 sw issues they've experienced since the MKIII was launched in October 2007. More embarassing if you ask me - a crashing TV is the worst possible scenario! However

 • Re: IS B&O worth the money???
Sorry to hear BOBBY1 about your bad experience. 6 televisions changed. This is unheard of
Not really. I had 2 x BV7-40 MKIIIs and now 3 x BV7-40 MKIVs! That's 5 since Nov 2007 :) Luckily the latest BV7-40 MKIV is fine, apart from an audio delay between linkroom TVs.

 • Re: BV7 mkIII versus BV7 mkIV / BV10
My dealer has offered to buy my two years old Beovision 7 40” MKIII+BeoLab 7.2 for a value of 7.000€ if I buy a new one.
That's a very good price! You wouldn't get that for a MKIII in the UK! There's definitely a difference between the 'old' MKIII 50Hz and the very latest MKIV 100Hz

 • Re: 46-inch BeoVision 10-46 coming
In the Swedish newspaper "Dagens Industri" 4/2-2010 the BV10-46 is featured. The price is set at 100 000SEK(9800€). The BV 10-40 is 60 000SEK(5900€) in Sweden. This pricedifference was slightly higher then I would have expected. Does any one know if this is correct?
That's a big

 • Re: BV7-40 MKV
this tv is only a couple months old.
It is? I received mine last May. It's now Feb 2010 :) There's no new panel update for the BV7-40 MKIV. Like the poster says above, there have been quite a few sw-related issues with the MKIII and MKIV, so I think most of us would be pretty upset if they released a

 • Re: Beovision 7 - 40 MKIII Software 7.05
The only drawback is the fan noise which is more audible and that should be fixed with the 7.11 release.
I love the casual nature of B&O sw updates ("oh, fan noise? We'll worry about that later"). Remember they have to send an engineer around, at £65 an hour, to run these sw updates.

 • Re: Beovision 7 - 40 MKIII Software 7.05
Apart from the known fan noise problem I see a considerable deteriorationin HD picture quality. Does anybody else use this software and sees the same problem.
Unfortunately I noticed this and there's another discussion on this topic, elsewhere. Quite a few people have downgraded back to v6.x and have seen

 • Re: Why doesn't Apple buy B&O?
Not a new issue, but I just stumbled on this 2008 suggestion. Someone else can see the synergies.
This is one of those crazy subjects that rears it's head over and over and, quite frankly, isn't thought through at all Simply put: why would they? Apple are a computer and phone manufacturer with lots

 • Re: Struer Customer Service - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
which market are you from? In US, apparently they are still fixing the software.. I have given up on BC5 and have returned to the dealer..
Niiiiice. So they can't even get the sw right for a phone, these days? Although my BV7-40 MKIV is now completely fine - thanks to the hard work from the Bath B&O

 • Re: BeoVision 10-46/48 confirmed
Apparently the rumors of a BeoVision 10 bigger than 40-inch are more than just rumor.....can anybody confirm?
I clicked on this as you say the TV is 'confirmed', as if we could expect some kind of official press statement or specs. The post is actually a question....to ask if it's confirmed?
