    Here's the 7.3 degree tilt with the medium spikes in the back and the large spikes in the front.

    Here's the 9.1 degree tilt with the small spikes in the back and the large spikes in the front. There isn't quite enough space to fit an adult hand under the speaker at the back/small spikes! Beware the hand crush!

    More spikes in the mail yesterday. The current setup is 4 of the medium size on the bottom of the stand, and 4 of the medium size on the top of the stand. The three installed heights of the spikes are: Small: 1.3 cm (1/2") Medium: 1.7 cm (11/16") Large: 3.3 cm (1 5/16") The front to back distance between spikes is 12.5 cm (5"). Using

    Since Friday night I've been doing quite a bit of listening to the Stereophile Test CD 3 since I brought my NAD 7175PE receiver out of the garage and hooked it up to the second pair of M70s. A few of the tracks on the Stereophile disc revealed some issues with one of the speakers of pair 2 (somewhere in the treble). A bunch of listening and shuffling

    Also, Goof Off wipes did a great job of getting the odd splash of stain off the M70 metal trim.

    @mediabobny - that is a beautiful piece. Didn't know they made receivers back in the day. @Evan - there will be no painting of the BC4500. EVAR. Actually, what I need to do on the 4500 is the double-sided tape repair. Some day I'll do the search of the forums and figure out that fix. I'm not sold on the 4500 cd player though, unless I decide

    The last time I cleaned out my electronics closet, I had two poor experiences with buyers that completely soured me on the Ebay selling experience. I don't think I will ever sell again because of two guys buying second hand electronics from me for $25. $25 x 2. Very sad. I still buy, though. I've actually never had a poor buying experience.
