The instruction manual and service manual are both on site for silver and gold members. You should set the input switch depending on the output of your pre-amp. The power switch should go to Auto.

I would second Lee's thoughts about the site. Beoworld is no more commercial than it has ever been. It has probably less advertising, and the prize draw gives members a way of supporting the site with a bit of fun thrown in. There was apparently a Hitachi that did something similar. My 5000 has failed with a tape stuck in it! waiting for Tim to come up to fix it!

Having said that, playing with a Wii on a really big screen could be fun! Just bought one for Eleanor - it is hilarious! ( A Wii, that is!)

I am sure they can. The service manual is actually on site - I would not be surprised if the drivers need the surrounds replacing. Whilst there, get the capacitors in the cross over replaced.

Looking at the service manual, there would appear to be a 5A and a 10A fuse in the speaker. I would however strongly suggest getting your dealer to deal with this. These are expensive pieces of kit and deserve proper care! Not us messing around!

No light would suggest a fuse or a loose connection. If it was a malfunction, a red or amber light would be flashing.

They don't need much of a mount - the one B&O provide is not much more than a hook! A decent wide headed screw is probably enough!
