Blue goes to pin 7 and yellow to pin 6, Looking from the soldering side, with the gap at the top, pin 7 is the one top left and pin 6 top right. (Just pulled my plug apart!!)

The old ones have two black plastic plugs on top. The new ones have a socket for the Earset 1 - not a jack plug. Essentially, if there is a hole in the top with some contacts on either side it is a new one. The new ones work with the old Beoline but the old ones don't work with the new Beoline. Afraid not. The MMC4 is much smaller than the CL and so this would be impossible. There was a conversion for arms that took the SP cartridges to use the MMC20 range as the SP cartridges were larger but it was not very popular. Also no use to you! I would strongly suggest getting a Soundsmith SMMC4 - it will be better than an old MMC4 and will last you

If true, it will have meant they have done a major redesign of the donor unit - which I would doubt. Should be released fairly soon so we will soon find out! I agree that it would make sense!

The reference manuals for both the EU and the US models are on site. Alex is quite correct about the PL sockets! (Of course!)

It is used to program the older Beosat modules - the AV and LM. Not very useful I am afraid! It connects to sets like the Avant via the Masterlink socket. I have an instruction manual!
