Blue goes to pin 7 and yellow to pin 6, Looking from the soldering side, with the gap at the top, pin 7 is the one top left and pin 6 top right. (Just pulled my plug apart!!)

The old ones have two black plastic plugs on top. The new ones have a socket for the Earset 1 - not a jack plug. Afraid not. The MMC4 is much smaller than the CL and so this would be impossible. There was a conversion for arms that took the SP cartridges to use the MMC20 range as the SP cartridges were larger but it was not very popular. Also no use to you! I would strongly suggest getting a Soundsmith SMMC4 - it will be better than an old MMC4 and will last you

It is used to program the older Beosat modules - the AV and LM. Not very useful I am afraid! It connects to sets like the Avant via the Masterlink socket. I have an instruction manual!
