And they were probably horse drawn - i can remember them but only after a visit to the Black Country Museum Dudley! Have a good one - wish i was that age with the knowledge etc i have now - undoubtedly ther same mistakes would be made! t

Sorry Keith missed that - the unit is as in the second shown ie 1653, but cannot see an indicated voltage think it may be 12v or even higher as various inc droppers are used inthe various circuits, just trying to may doubly certain before venturing forward and making mistakes!!

anyone got one out there? - it is the first transformer in and provides standby power/services to the unit! Anyone know the secondary output of this piece ie ac volts - I have one but the primary on the transformer is open circuit and i would like to fire the unit up using an external secondary source to check the operation of the unit before commotting

Thanks for the help gents - i'll give it a whirl next week - in fact, have both 1611 and 1614 but the '11 was earmarked for another link system in another bit of the house to far to link in to this which is in the centre of an open plan living space with tiled floors and no walls to run links etc - will post pics when finished t

So, I do need a 1611 for the 7000 - ouverture link - i gather the 1614 will not work - is that correct? or is it suck and see - I'm back en France end of next week where the kit is so can give it all a whizz then t

Hi all Whats the difference between a 1611 and a 1614 convereter? Just found a piece in the main site however I have an MX7000 and an overture to link up in one room , will the 1614 do the job? - If not what can the 1614 be used for? tony
