if you serial no. is lower then 05101264 it not link compatible?? I think So if this is the case the new CPU will help *edit* just looked at your first post and can see that it is, the SW update has this part number 8341051 from B&O

Yes there is a fuse inside it, I have seen some where the standby transformer stopped working this is maybe the problem!! Loosen the speaker cover by pressing in on it and pull the side of it outward, do this from top to bottom in both sides. then you can pull the cover upward and of. the amp. is placed at the bottom.

joeyboygolf: The plastic remote that I have suggested above replicates all the keys on a BL1000 and costs less than £10 Yes! and you have to aim at the TV, like on all the good kingo's (or what it is you call the "no name" TV's) out there it's Shift+V-TAPE when using AV2 (it only possible to name it V.Tape2)

Yes thats the way it will work.

If speakers is of the active type you can connect them to the TV, you can not use the BL7000 for the BV7 so thats a no go. but I think BS7000 still sends the info. to BL7000 no matter the option. I also think if you set BV7 to option 2 and BS to 1, then you press radio to the BV7 and after that you can use the BL7000 (not for vol..)

Alex: First time B&O have done this since the BeoMaster 5000 on their audio systems. No also on BC2... so think this is the way thy will go from now on..

If your BV7 is a mrk 2, if you live in EU it is... then use AV 4's two RCA phonon plugs, call AV 4 - V.AUX in the TV menu. Then ADD. A-V.AUX to your remote (Press list and st.by at the same time to enter service menu on beo4. then "ADD?" is shown in the display press GO, and scroll to you find it) you also need to set the TV to "option
