Hmmm... Do you mean Beomaster 8000 and Beovox Penta's?
I do! Saw your new white Beomaster 8000 - it's very nice. The white systems are nearly impossible to find in the UK.
I have seen them in a danish shop called Illums Bolighus recently for about 200 dkr. thats approx 24-25 GBP
That's more like it! I searched on their website though, and only found the Kay Bojesen monkeys and not the soldiers :(
They do still make them - though they are not really B&O. Have a look here but I would sit down before looking at the price!
It will be a small army then! Anyone have one kicking around at a more sensible price???

Looking for a new recruit to join my B&O soldier Peter. He's a drummer, so I'd like one of the other soldiers if possible (the one with the flag, or the guard in the little hut). I want to raise an army, so give me a shout if you have one :)

Anyone from Yorkshire planning on going???

'History' by The Verve. One of my all-time favourites. Always sounds so good loud on a decent system.

Thanks guys :) Is there a part number for the battery? I'd be happy to fit it myself, as the case screws off once you unscrew the docking receptor from the unit.

I bought a second-hand Beosound 2, but as I use it a lot walking to and from medical school, I tend to wear the battery down quite quickly. This might be because it's a used unit, but should I be getting more than about 3-4 hours playback from it? Is it possible to either get a new battery fitted by B&O, or better still, have an aftermarket
