Ist der BM5 registriert? Stefan

DVI - HDMI cable also works with earlier SW. My BV7-40 is software 5.0? and my BM5 works great via HDMI. I can select all resolution up to full HD 1920 x 1080. So upgrading shouldn`t be necessary. If you have link-TVs don´t forget to connect a composite cable. Stefan

Should be fine. I have a similiar setup - BS9000 connected to BV7-40 and digital audio to BL5. Spdif is only used when playing CD. In RADIO- or AUX mode sound is via masterlink to BV7-40 and via Powerlink to BL5. In my setup the AUX out of a BS7000 (located in a linkroom) is connected to AUX in of my BS9000, and I can use it in all my linkrooms without

Press MENU - MENU - scroll to OPTIONS - press RED - GO (Customer Service Menu) - press ADJUSTMENTS - press EXTRA BLANKING - that`s it. Stefan

Agree with Ehlerz. This is what you find in BS3 service manual regarding "EXTRA BLANKINGS Sub Menu": ------------------------------- EXTRA BLANKING It is possible to control the blanking time if for instance a Set-top box connected is slow to synchronize to a satellite channel. I just checked my Beo1: It doesn`t work with my BS7000, BC9500 (both 2 way), BM3300, BS Century (both 1 way). It works with my BV7-40 MKIII, BC6-26, BV6-22, Lintronic box. It`s also possible to control the BS9000 (in OPT.0) via BV7-40. Looks like you are right. Beo1 only works with Beovisions....(?)...strange. Stefan

If I remember correctly, Beo announced the "BM5 picture on link TV" as "exiting new feature". I had this feature already years ago with my BM1 including navigation with menu overlay and browsing music library...so maybe this will be the "exiting new feature" in 2011 with SW 5.04...? Stefan

Beo1 has no source buttons. So you have to select source with Beo4, and you can navigate with Beo1. Left - Right - Up - Downn - Play - Stop - Volume/up-down - Standby - should work. In my setup GO activates DTV when everything is in standby. Stefan

You will need it. Check it out. It is also mentioned some posts above: "Retailer involvement This update requires active involvement from the retailer. An additional cable is needed between the BeoMaster 5 and the main room television for distribution of the CVBS signal in order to enable the link room distribution of data. " It`s not a problem

[quote user="beolion"] This is interesting, maybe someone can help here. If I turn on BM5 in my link room TV and afterwards turn on BM5 in the main room which - beside composite - also is connected with HDMI, then I get the signal in the main room thru composite instead of HDMI. And the quality is by far not as good. Is it not possible to
