Der Vergleich mit Porsche ist interessant. Im Vergleich zum VW sind die Preise bei beiden angestiegen. Beim Fernseher hat es sich bei normalen Marken in die andere Richtung entwickelt. Die Preisteigerung bei B&O waere schon OK (Avant 1998 10K$, heute BV7 15K$ in US). Nur ist in der gleichen Zeit der Sony von 2000 auf 1000 oder tiefer gefallen .

I think it's too early to judge. How the content gets on that thing plays a huge role. Who would be willing to maintain multiple libraries, i.e. Itunes for Ipod & Beoplayer for this one. So then this is probably the piece they are working one. I think how the library is managed is as important as the device itself. No one would want to be forced to maintain 2 and Itunes and the Ipod is very hard to ignore. And it can not be cumbersome. JK

I know about the Itunes Drag and Drop to Beoconnect for Mac and Beoplayer option for PC. How about Itunes for PC and how will photos and videos be handled from within itunes? Or can I just dump them onto the drive of the Beomaster. Thanks JK

I think how one gets the music onto it is a bit of a mystery. I think expectation is that you do it through the Beoplayer Software or through Beoconnect and Itunes if you are under Mac. When you read the service manual, it has XP underneath and it looks just like normal windows when you hit the service menu. Question is what they use to play video etc
