Please, could someone explain to me why the Beosound 5 has HDMI/DVI connections?
... obviously because BM 5 has a DVI output

  • Re: Swap glass on a BV10 40"?

as far as I'v been told the glass is bonded to the aluminium frame - making the exchange quite costly (way beyond EUR 1000)
Why is the sky blue? Why do birds sing? These and many other questions will be answered by a software update to be revealed this coming week.
;-) hardly can wait B&O answering the everlasting question "Why is the sky blue?"

  • Re: BV3 questions

Unfortunately they are not identical, 3-28 uses a type 4005 , 3-32 uses a type 4003 Digital Surround Sound module The main chassis of both TV's is completely different! 3-28 is based on BeoVision 1 3-32 is more or less an Avant wo VCR/DVD built in Maybe the DSS-PCB is equal but the rest of the hardware (length of cables / mounting frame / ...) will

  • Re: New Beo 4 coming!!

One wil give you just Stereo, I believe.
You'll need a Dolby® Digital Module - Type 4003 This works excellently with just 2 additional B&O speakers configured

  • Re: Can I connect my BeoMaster 5 via Airport and a Ethernet cable from Airport Extreme Station with my Mac Powerbook ?
If you are using BeoConnect you don`t need a Bepport, I think. Did you register Beoconnect? A lot of people had problems connecting their BM5 wireless. It is NOT recommended by Beo. Stefan
Stefan is absolutely right - you don't need the BeoPort - in fact it will make troubles in the system when not set to

  • Re: BS4 / Aux input question

... until new SW for BeoLink Converters comes from the north ... Opt 2+2 and the IR reduction will be the least of all evils - giving you access to all sources and "solving" the inherent command doubling issue when A.Opt 2 + V.OPT 2 is used for units beeing in the same room! Call your B&O dealer and order an IR damper B&O ItemNr 3160078
