• Re: Beogram 1000 - Motor overhaul
especially on the old round motor type. Martin
DOH!!!! Strangely when I removed the bottom cover. There was another of the small PCB's that fit in place of the RIAA floating about. Looks like I will have to remove the motor and see how it goes. Think this may be a job to do when I have got my vice sorted

  • Beogram 1000 - Motor overhaul

How easy si it to strip clean and rebuild a BG1000 motor. Got a lovely mint one with the usual slow speed issue. Left in running for 30 mins, and now its playing fine. Just listened to William Orbit on it. In the past I have done a BG12XX with no problem at all. Although I know this motor is quite different, I imagine the fault to be the same. Dried
We had a party last night.... It was obviously loud because the police came... but anyway in the morning I noticed that the right BL5 had moved a few inches. At first I thought that someone must have moved it.... but I guess it was from the vibrations ? Anyway. It was a great party even though I slept on the bathroom floor
