You can import jpg files for use as station idents or zone idents. The software walks you through all this - use the help screen. I got rid of mine. Too old to learn new tricks and like some others, I have Beo4s and Beolink 1000s around the house. The impedance really doesn't matter that much - 7 ohms will be fine. I cannot comment on the Sonab speakers though!

I would imagine it is one of two things. The most likely is that the MMC20E is no longer working properly and the suspension is failing. The higher weight allows it to work to an extent but you really need a new cartridge. Or the weight indication is simply wrong - you will need a stylus balance to check this.

I agree - seems ridiculous as they will not work properly without the stands and the stands will only work with these speakers. M100s are a different story.

The mark 3 5000s probably sound the best, the mark 1s are the best made and the mark 2s are the weakest. With 2500s,I would use mark 1s.

The MCP 5000 has two IR transceivers - one at each side. You may find that one has stopped working. You can tell by photographing it with a digital camera when sending a signal. In your case it may be that just the receiver is not not functioning on one side though.

Interesting! A TDA1541 - not an A. Your feelings about the 3300 system mirror mine - why did they paint it grey and use vomit green lights!
