I believe that David Moulton's partners did a double blind trial of power leads. If I remember correctly a good selection of individuals were chosen to attend the test, including some described as having Golden ears! The result of the test was that no-one was better than chance at distinguishing power cables. These ranged from kettle leads up! Interconnects

Cable debate!! Do a double blind A/B/X and then come back! As said before, the one difference I have noticed is buying Scart leads with the special clips so they don't fall out.

Don't agree with that! B&O make a niche product. Yes, you can buy better sounding equipment but it won't be made from the same materials and it won't last as long. B&O do make great Hi-Fi , but they also make style icons. And most of it is not repackaged Philips or Hitachi! As with all makes, they use what they can get, but don't

On which forum!!! If on the Mac one - forgone conclusion! Might be a bit controversial on the General forum and regarded as a declaration of war if on the PC forum! At the end of the day, they are all just computers and do a job. Apple has a better chance of actually working as both hardware and software are made by the same company. It will be interesting

Actually I agree in a way with 355f! I suppose I would define the looks as more than just that - ergonomics would come into it - but the vast majority of B&O equipment can be outperformed by cheaper products from other manufacturers. Whether these products will last as long or be built from such good materials is another matter of course. I am quite
