I have gone back from Beosystem 2000 to Beolab 8000 system with a cdx. In general a big step forward but older system took longer time to find and get in correct working order. I don't plan to go back when the LX5500 needs to be changed sometime in the future. Hopefully still a decade or two.

No lack of bass in my Beovox M150's for sure. Nearly 99% flat listning too. They can handle the power of my BM8000 and sound is well balanced. Not a speaker you get tired off listning too.
