Flappo You are undermining your own argument by not engaging with what everyone is saying. B&O didn't made their own tubes in CRT days, and they have always cost a lot more than the competition. Congratulations on your freebie. You will be pleasantly surprised how good it sounds when you get it going! The speaker cables are 2-pin DIN male at one end female at the other (assuing you have a set of B&O speakers), you can use the 5 pin DIN Tape in connector at the front to connect a CD Player, you can buy suitable RCA to DIN converter leads
