P.s. moving the stereo on or off make no difference. Sometimes when tuning in a channel I see a quick flash of the stereo light

I only had a look at the BM1900 today. I haven't changed anything yet but have noticed exactly whats happening on closer inspection. The problem is with the radio. The stereo light doesn't come on (it is not burnt) and I'm not sure if the radio is playing in stereo. My friend says it isn't. The balance lights shine equal brightness but

There are definitely no more glass panels left from B&O. When I bought a replacement for my Beomaster, my dealer said it was the last including the Beogram. Don't get rid of it yet especially since you love it so much. Keep searching for a CD4500/3500 that is not working or just buy another 2nd hand CD4500 and keep yours for spares. I have always

Hey there! Same thing happen to my Beogram Cd 3500. I used a wet cloth to clean the old tape. I used black silicon to glue it back on, Worked perfectly. Will never fall off again. If you need complete details, eg how to remove the black plastic holders for the glass from the Beocord and more tips let me know.

I would go with the 4500.The styling is absolutely elegant and timeless whilst the 6500 is a bit more conventional looking in my opinion. Like Peter says it does have poerlink sockets so you can really have a great sounding system. Of course i'm no expert and having never heard a 6500 in my life I suppose i'm commenting more on the design aspect
