• Re: BV10-46, any feedback?

And also proves you don't need a BS3 to get a great picture! As the BS3 doesn't do DTS-HD, I'm wondering what benefits it now offers most home users.

Give people a chance to digest and reply. A 1.5 hr wait isn't long. Someone will be on the case, soon..!
Although I wouldn't buy one (the 3D model), I did watch the demo reel in Currys at the weekend and I have to say it was pretty impressive as a novelty feature!
Yeah, these new screens are outstanding. Even the BV7-55, with the new backlit LED screen is superior to that of the BV7-40. Should be interesting

  • Re: IS B&O worth the money???
Overpriced. No doubt about it.In the middle of a bad financial downturn the prices went up 12%
They are going up a further 3% in June, from what I've been told! Another price increase. Whilst I think the £6100 BV10-40 is reasonably priced, the £7900 BV10-46, isn't.

  • Re: BV10-46, any feedback?

Slight sad I'm replying to my own post, but managed to get to my local dealer today to see the BV10-46. The picture is outstanding. A step up from the BV7-40 MKIV! Who needs a BS3-powered set, eh? Sound was good, but not excellent. I guess I'm spoilt with my 7.4+BL9 setup. You'd get used to the sound, though. The thing that shocked me, is

  • BV10-46, any feedback?

Ok guys, the BV10-46 is now available, at your local dealer and should be shipping soon. I haven't had chance to visit my local dealer and won't be able to for another week or so. So, anyone received their BV10-46? What do you think? Anyone moved up from the BV10-40 and, if so, any improvement? What's the UK RRP for the BV10-46 inc stand
does the bv7 suffer from clouding ?
Definitely not! Just s/w issues :)

  • Re: Lost members over the years

Simon, the Beonic Man, he was around from the start of this 'new' board, quit for a while, came back with the same username, but hasn't posted since last November. He's around in person though - he visits the Bath and Swindon B&O store. Mind you, I don't post much these days either.

  • Re: Is the Beovision 10-40 panel going to be replaced?
Yes, my dealer told me that the Beovision 10s construction was fixed to adress this clouding error and that it gets a new backlight system.
Or, more worrying, shouldn't they have figured this problem in the first place? What happened to Q/A?

  • Re: B&O where to get a discount?
Well they do discount when they want to get rid of something...
Yeah, many ex-demo kit though, or stuff that is in stock. However, UK dealers rarely do deals on new product. And the question was from a UK customer.
