THIS may be of some help with the cabinets. To get a high gloss finish is quite intensive & there are no real short cuts (according to my brother who is a master cabinet maker). Chris.

You can select whichever input/function required using the manual buttons behind the drop down front panel. For any radio reception at all you MUST connect something to the ariel socket at the back, even a piece of wire should do for testing purposes. Chris.

I use an eyeliner brush which I pilfered from the wife & jewellery cleaning solution. Brilliant for removing any hard deposits which build up on the stylus tip. Chris.

To be fair all the comments in support of the BC2200 are accurate but the bottom line is they aren't as well built as the 7*** series of beocenters which can be picked up for similar money. As for speakers - X25's are pretty poor offerings when compared to other Beovox speakers. I owned a BC2200 for a short time & used RL45.2's which

It doesn't help that ebay simply refuse to cancel these fake listings. I used to report at least a dozen a week with nothing done about it so I stopped bothering. Even B&O don't seem too bothered and we know they watch Beoworld where these have been highlighted time and again. The only way to guarantee the real McCoy is to buy from B&O

Is it the BM1700 which matches the Beolab1700 amp or the BM1700 with the glass top & caterpillar tracks for volume & tuning? Chris.

I'm seriously thinking about asking that site to generate some lottery numbers for me, you couldn't make it up. BTW Jaff, you were number 7 which had I my money on, it being my lucky number. Then again the most I've ever won on the lottery is a tenner so maybe I should reconsider.... Chris.
